Artists write about their work to tell us more about the meaning of their work and why they did what they did. You will be writing an artist statement when you are finished with your project. Below is the template for the artist statement with an example.

This week in art class, we have talked about how we see the world from different perspectives. We have looked at tattoo designs and how a tattoo can be a visual representation of: a group you belong to, someone you love, and something that interests you and shows who you are.
