In art class, we will be documenting your process of working. For each project you create, you will need to do 1 in-process blog post and 1 final blog post. Each of these posts needs to include both pictures and writing. Here are the requirements for each posts:
In-Process Blog Post: Describe what you are creating. How did you come up with your idea? Where are you at in the process of creating your artwork? What have been some challenges along the way? What are some successes you have had? Share 1 or 2 photos of your work in progress.
Final Blog Post: Choose from 4-5 reflection prompts to describe your work and let the viewer know more about your creative process. Organize your writing in a paragraph that can be viewed as an artist statement with your work. Choose a title for your artwork. Share 1 or 2 photos of your final artwork.
Share about yourself for this first blog. Look at my example and include some fun and facts with your writing. Let's get to know each other so we can have a great art experience this year!
My name is Sarah Prevot, AKA Mrs. Prevot, and I am your art teacher. I live in Lake Park with my husband Daniel, 4 year old daughter and 9 month old son. My husband is the better cook, but I enjoy baking and grilling:) I love to read, play sports, travel, take photos, organize things, and help others. We figured out how to put up a fence this summer so the kiddos don't run in the street or fall in the creek by our house. It was a lot of work! I went to Yellowstone and Big Sky, Montana on a family vacation this summer and saw so many beautiful places. I finally got to use my camera again and loved it! We survived the 2 day trip out and back with 2 kids (and my parents). I look forward to trying new ways of teaching this year and offering more choice with the art units and projects. My favorite binge show on Netflix now is the Green Arrow. I am also a big Flash fan.
