In Art Foundations, we worked with the element of COLOR when creating our Cubist paintings. Students painted a color wheel first to remember how colors mix to make other colors. Then, students learned about the style of art called Cubism. In Cubist art, many objects are broken up, shown from different perspectives or simplified. Each student chose a sea or air creature for their painting. We practiced drawing them in the Cubist style. Can you guess each of the creatures?
