Here are some videos we will watch in class. Earth Report 15 Rare Endangered Species Video Endangered Species Destroyed Habitats Endangered TV WWF Drones 6th graders: Use the following websites to help you find an endangered species for your final art drawing. Print a good photo of your animal and write some facts on your paper. World Wildlife Fund- Endangered Species Endangered Species- Arkive We looked at artwork by Clarence Carter, an American artist. He has a series of artworks with animals looking over a ledge or wall. The 6th graders each created their own artwork with their portrait and a positive quote they want to share with others on the bottom wall. 8th graders created a design showing variety with 5-6 different patterns. They transferred it to a metal piece and continued their design into the frame. |
