8th graders are learning how they can make their drawings look 3D and more realistic using linear perspective. Our first project focused on 1 point perspective. Students chose a word and made each letter 3D using the 1 vanishing point.

7th graders worked with radial symmetry to create their paper weaving. Radial symmetry is balance with a design arranged around a circle or center point. Each student painted their design two times, once in warm colors and once in cool colors. Students then measured to create cuts on the back of each paper. One paper was folded so that it could be used as the loom. Enjoy the colorful creations! |
