7th graders have been working with color. Each student drew a city skyline based on a city of their choice. Then we drew and cut it out of contact paper and attached it to a watercolor paper. The fun part was making the drips with paint and spray bottles! Each student made a painting that showed the positive part as the color and the positive part as the white space. We used warm colors on one, and cool colors on the other.
