After working with ellipses and round forms, we moved on to 3D boxes. Students practiced looking at boxes to draw correct angles. Then we did a drawing of boxes stacked on top of each other. This was quite challenging for students. To continue with our boxes in a more creative way, we are drawing tree-houses. Students started with a tree reference image and drew the tree. Then we made a horizon line and 2 vanishing points to help us draw the tree-house boxes with linear perspective so they will look realistic. Students are adding color using colored pencils. Here is a fun video we watched to give us some inspiration for fun things to add to our tree-houses.
