The high school students finished painting their vases and glazing their creative bowls this week. Take a look at their creative work!

Students were able to see their texture mugs and how the glaze works. As the weather gets cooler, they will have a great mug to drink hot chocolate, tea or coffee. Students have finished painting their coil vases as well. Each student chose an artwork or painting as their inspiration for the color and design on their vase. See if you recognize any of the art inspirations. High school students used inspiration from many different places to sketch ideas for a creative bowl. We used nature, music, food, everyday objects and opposites to come up with ideas. The bowls are drying now so we can fire them and glaze them next week!  Students finished building their coil vases today in art class. They now need to dry and will be fired in the kiln next week.
