High school students are starting their final project with landscapes. They are creating a panoramic landscape from an image using texture paste and watercolor. Here are some photos of what they are working on in class.
We're going to be looking at different landscape artists throughout history and from different cultures. There is quite a range in style of painting and how the artists portray the land.

High school students are working at creating their own landscapes. We have practiced with paint and drawing and are going to be looking at some different artists and styles. Some things they have learned about landscapes include: perspective, color, detail, size and placement of objects, the parts of a landscape: foreground, middle ground and background.
Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once you grow up.
